We get BIG workouts in our HIIT, yogalates, and vinyasa practices. This mini-series is designed for you to get more out of your movements. This is a complementary practice and is designed to hit some areas we tend to avoid. The goal behind this series is for you to be successful and safe with movements in your life, at any age or in any space. Prepare your body for movement.
30 Minute Mobility Session + 30 Minute HIIT Session
30 Minutes of Mobility to focus on…
o Fluid Dynamics: reduces impairments within the body
o SMR Massage: self-myofacial release, using a tennis ball
o SMUR Activation: stabilize and help with joint motion. In order to activate muscles, give the nervous system an opportunity to complete a task to activate those muscles. I.E. forceful breath activates those internal core muscles which are difficult to activate consciously
o Excitation: allows us to turn muscles on and off so they don’t stay activated, when they stay activated they can limit a joint
o Stimulation: activating the senses and nervous system for input/assessment – open eyes wide, move your head side to side while focusing on one point on the ceiling. Higher motor function! Stimulate the brain stem, cerebellum – vestibular system.
o WORKOUT: Whole Body Dynamic Movements

Session 1 - Feet & Legs
Your feet and legs are your foundation and their health is important to your whole body. ¼ of the bones in your body are located in your feet and ankles. Show them some love with this mobility session designed to prep your feet, ankles and knees for mobility. We will utilize processes that encourage fluid dynamics, small muscle recruitment, stimulation, and more, then will finish off with a 30 minute HIIT session to feel the impact of the mobility work in your movements.
Pre registration for individual workshops will open one week in advance of each workshop, (just like when you sign up for class). These are going to book solid so add this series to your calendar now!
