WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO YOUR FIRST CLASS HERE AT STEAM HOUSE?

My neighbor Alison always saw me walking around our neighborhood.  One day she mentioned that her yoga studio was having an open house.  She thought I might enjoy it.  I was thinking I needed to vary my workout routine and yoga sounded like a nice change of pace.  About five weeks into yoga I attended my first Inferno Hot Pilates (IHP) class and I was hooked.  I like yoga but I love IHP.


WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE POSTURE OR MOVEMENT TO DO IN CLASS?

I really enjoy the combination of strength training and cardio but the various planks are my favorite.


WHAT ARE SOME BENEFITS YOU'VE NOTICED SINCE YOU’VE BEEN TAKING CLASSES HERE REGULARLY?

My previous work out routine was fine but I wasn’t working entire parts of my body.  Since committing to IHP I’ve noticed dramatic changes in my core, back, and leg muscles.  I feel stronger, have better posture, and my occasional lower back pain is all but gone.  Mentally I always feel more relaxed after an IHP class.


WHAT WORDS OF ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR SOMEONE CONSIDERING COMING TO THE STUDIO FOR THE FIRST TIME?

Just show up and try it.  The teachers and the students are very supportive.  It’s an open and accepting environment.  Don’t worry about what you can or can’t do, just do your best, and breathe…
